Popular Celebrity Hair Extensions that You Can Rock

The days of cutting your hair short and waiting eagerly for them to grow back are gone thanks to hair extensions. With so many fabulous and fun hairstyles to play with, you simply do not have the time to wait for your hair to get some length. If you are stuck with short hair, you might want to invest in premium quality extensions. Also, given below are some of the trending celebrity hair extensions that you can take inspiration from.

# Kylie Jenner’s Tape-in Extensions
When it comes to hair extensions, Kylie Jenner is regarded as an excellent model. Even though she is known for wearing wigs, she is a big fan of hair extensions. Even though her Snapchat is filled with pictures of her sporting a short hair, she steps out flaunting beautiful, long hair. This is the beauty of hair extensions. She makes use of tape-ins, which is comfortable to wear and convenient to remove. These extensions last anywhere between six and eight weeks. If you have thin hair, this type of extension is particularly recommended.

# Beyonce’s Glue-in Extensions
Glue-in hair extensions are a bit of a trouble, but Beyonce absolutely rocks the look. She adds extensions to increase the length, texture and volume of her hair. These extensions are a lot like clip-ins, but they need not be removed when you go to sleep. However, they last for only a few short days. So, if you want to look different for an event, these extensions are the ideal option.

# Chrissy Teigen’s Clip-in Extensions
Chrissy Teigen is one such brave celebrity who is not afraid to accept and flaunt her clip-in hair extensions. She even advocates to her fans and followers that it is great to use hair extensions. Unlike Kylie and Beyonce, she makes use of clip-in extensions as they are straightforward and easy. These extensions can be worn everyday and are very easy to maintain. Even removing them is not much of a hassle.

Take inspiration from any of the above-mentioned celebrities and choose the extension of your choice.

Know the Types of Hair Extension Applications Before Making Your Choice

Long, silky and shiny looking hair is probably the most important asset of any woman. Thanks to the readily available hair extensions, women in the UK are able to embrace different hairstyles and trends with utmost confidence. If you wish to join the hair extension bandwagon, but do not know which hair extension application is best for your hair, keep reading.

# Tape-in Hair Extensions

Tape hair extensions are common amongst celebrities and fashionistas. These pre-taped extensions are glued or taped together on either side of natural hair. Generally, a hairstylist would make use of heated tools to apply tape-ins and align them to the roots of the hair. The entire process takes approximately forty minutes and these semi-permanent tape-in extensions last for about four to eight weeks. In case the extensions are removed carefully and are in good condition, they can be reused.

# Fusion or Pre-bonded Hair Extensions
Fusion hair extensions, also called pre-bonded or bonding, are bonded to one’s natural hair with the use of various adhesives like, glue. It takes about three to four hours to apply pre-bonded hair extensions in UK. However, fusions extensions are not suitable for everyone, especially women who have damaged hair. Pre-bonded application is extremely manageable and can be treated as one’s natural hair. They last up to four months.

# Clip-in Hair Extensions
Clip-in extensions or wefts come in a strand of contoured pieces. Some of the long strands can be cut short. The hair extensions are sewn into the strand of real hair with the use of clips. The clips are sewn in before the application of hair extensions. This method is the least permanent application of hair extensions as they can be removed just as quickly as they can be clipped in. This is what makes clip-in extensions very popular as women can change the way their hair looks whenever they want. The longevity of these extensions depend on how well they are taken care of.

So, these are the popular hair extensions applications. Review each one to make an informed decision.

Benefits Of Tape-In Hair Extensions

It is a simple fact of life that many of us would like to have long hair, yet ours is nowhere near as long as we would like it to be. Unfortunately, hair is slow growing and getting it from, say, shoulder length to halfway down your back can easily take two to three years and we just don’t want to wait that long.
This is why more and more girls today are turning to hair extensions in order to achieve the look that they want almost instantly. However, when you look at the hair extensions that are available you find that there are different methods of fixing them, so which one should you choose?

One of the best solutions is tape hair extensions UK because they are semi-permanent and you can do anything you wish while wearing them. Tape-in hair extensions are made using excellent adhesives which mean that they are long lasting as opposed to extensions which clip in or are sewn in. Not only are the adhesives that are used long lasting, but also the hair itself if you choose the best human hair rather than synthetic. With proper care they can last up to three months.

You will save time in the morning with tape-in hair extensions, because you don’t have to start fiddling with clip-ins as your hair extensions are already in. To be sure, they do need a little more maintenance than your own hair which you can probably get away with brushing just a couple of times a day. You really need to brush tape-in hair extensions several times a day to avoid them tangling with your own hair which can cause damage to the extensions.

One of the very big benefits of tape-in hair extensions is that you can do anything that you want to do while wearing them. If you want to work out, that’s fine. If you want to go swimming or take a shower, that’s fine too. With other types of hair extensions you have to take them out if you want to do these things, but with tape-in hair extensions you will be just fine.

The Boost In Confidence That Hair Extensions Provides

It’s a fact that most people who think about having hair extensions are doing so for the look that they can achieve. We have all seen celebrities with perfect long locks and we wonder how they manage it. The fact is that many celebrities use hair extensions to add to their natural hair which in many cases is much shorter – exactly like ours! However, we don’t look at a celebrity and think “oh, she’s wearing hair extensions”. That never crosses our minds. We simply think how lovely her hair looks.

Hair extensions can do the same thing for anyone. One of the advantages of having long hair is that you can style it in any way that you wish. You can wear it straight or curled. You can braid it. You can wear it in a bun. You can flip it into a pony tail. You can do all of those things with hair extensions too, so you can achieve the look that you want.

One of the benefits of hair extensions that nobody thinks about is the effect on your confidence. You may have looked at yourself in the mirror in the mornings and not been happy with what you see, yet you have to get on with the day. When you have hair extensions you can look in the mirror in the morning and you KNOW that you look good. This gives an enormous boost to your confidence and you set off for the day with a spring in your step knowing that you can conquer all and handle whatever the day throws at you.

It’s the same thing if you go to a party. With your hair extensions in you know full well that you can compete on equal terms with any of the other girls you will meet, rather than sitting quietly in a corner. There is no doubt that with greater confidence in yourself you can achieve more.

So never underestimate the huge difference that hair extensions can make to your confidence. You will look better, and as a result you will automatically feel better.

TAPE HAIR EXTENSIONS – A GOOD OPTION FOR AFRO OR MIXED-RACE CLIENTS

I have recently started using tape hair extensions on some of my mixed-race clients. Black hair is usually unruly and takes ages to grow. Most black woman spend fortunes on their hair each month to get a weave put in to make their hair longer. A weave is done by plaiting the customer’s hair tight to the head then hair extensions that are on a weft and are seen to the client’s head literally with a needle and a thread.

The problem with a weave is because all the hair is plaited so tightly at first to the head that it can really stress the natural hair out. Once it starts to grow it then gets bulky and the hair extensions that are seen to the weave start to stick out from the head and can look very wiggly.

Choosing the right hair extensions

We all want the Best hair extensions when we decide to take the plunge and dip our toe in to the wonderful world of hair. But how do you know that you are getting the best hair extensions at all? Once found, one has to decide type of hair extensions. Whether natural or synthetic having its advantages and dis-advantages.

The short answer to this is research. If you take the proper time to research to find exactly what you are looking for you should be able to rest assured that you will get the best you possibly can.

Firstly you must decide what your budget is? This will definitely dictate what type of hair you will go for. There is the option of 100% Human hair or synthetic hair. They both have their good points and bad points. Let’s start with the human hair, this hair is great because it is a real hair. This mean that it acts much more like your own hair and can be treated in a similar way. You can blow dry it, tong it and style it in pretty much the same way you do your hair. This means that the finished look you get will be perfect every time. You don’t have to worry about the hair melting as it would when compared to it’s synthetic counterpart. Again because it’s human hair it should blend perfectly with you own hair. Hopefully having a similar texture to your hair meaning that it should look and behave like your natural hair. If you look after your hair it should last nicely.

The slight down side for all this amaziness is 100% human hair. This can be a little bit more expensive and you can pay from hundreds going in to the thousands depending on what length etc you are going for.

A synthetic hair is more budget friendly option and can be good for short term or if you only want them for a short time. The problem is they quite often look synthetic and can have an unattractive unnatural shine that is a dead give away. You also can not style them in the same way you do for a 100% Human hair. If you try to tong, straighten or style them then the hair will almost certainly melt or burn, Not what you want when you are going on a night out or special occasion. Synthetic hair is also prone to tangling and getting knotty.

Really you need to decide how natural you want your hair to look as well as your budget. This will help you to make the right choice.
